New partner Simone Lauper
NEW PARTNER

Kai-Uwe Schanz, founding partner of Dr. Schanz, Alms & Company, leaves our consultancy. At the same time, we are excited to announce that Simone Lauper joins our company. Both changes are effective as of today.

In the past twelve years, we successfully built our partnership into a global boutique consultancy dedicated to research, corporate communications and business development for the risk-transfer industry. The three partners, Kai-Uwe Schanz, Henner Alms and Andreas Bollmann, developed a value proposition for our clients that combines a profound understanding of our industry with functional experience in research, underwriting and communications. With the upcoming rebranding of our consultancy, we will strive to further reinforce this positioning and strengthen our core competences.

Kai-Uwe Schanz was instrumental in the set-up, direction and success of our consultancy. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kai-Uwe Schanz for twelve successful years in which we steadily expanded our boutique consultancy from its Swiss origin to a franchise with clients in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Bermuda and Europe. Kai joins the Geneva Association, the leading international think tank of the insurance industry, as deputy managing director and head of research and foresight. We would like to wish Kai all the best going forward.

At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Simone Lauper as partner to our consultancy. Simone spent more than 20 years in senior management positions in leading financial services institutions, working in Switzerland and abroad. She joins us coming from TMR, Tokio Millennium Re where she was the firm’s head corporate communications since 2015, in charge of the company’s repositioning before the company was acquired earlier this year. Previously, Simone was with Swiss Re, serving as their head of media relations & financial reporting during the financial crisis and later as their head of internal communication. Before joining the reinsurance industry, Simone was a private banking client advisor for UBS in Switzerland, USA and Brazil. She speaks six languages and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a master’s in political science from the University of Lausanne.

First and foremost, we would like to thank our clients for their trust in us. Our most important objective remains to support them successfully expand their business and accomplish their goals. In the coming weeks, we will be in touch with our clients to introduce our new partner, Simone, and will soon share with you the new branding of our consultancy.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Simone to our consultancy and wishing Kai all the best in his new role at the Geneva Association.
